1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pikto ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pikto is a visual feedback and project collaboration platform that allows developers and their clients to pin comments directly on live previews, manage tasks, share files, and communicate in context.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Pikto. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service. We will not use your content for any other purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Pikto and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of Pikto require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will provide reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pikto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
